I'll hop on the "buy ammo and shoot it" band wagon. I actually played with the firing pin screw a little bit and that helped with my bolt being sticky, that was before i gave it a full and complete strip cleaning of the bolt. now its smooth as butter.

Is there any Indy area shops that sell spam cans? I have done some looking but havnt really found any. I do know that Bradis 2 has them but a can from them costs about the same as a Mosin. Im just kinda wondering if there are any other choices for me out there. I know that I can order them...

I have the same problem with mine. After the first cleaning the barrel was dull but after putting some rounds thru it and then a good cleaning it brightened up. Still I take it out about once a month to strip it and clean it and every patch i push down the barrel is tar black. Barrel is still...
