As requested by @bwframe here are some of the other pictures that were submitted that were not picked. I it seems like they wanted more landscape than wildlife pictures. It's their contest, but I usually prefer the wildlife images.
I've looked pretty closely @blain and I...
We spend all of our time in north west Montana typically in/near Glacier. We hope to get "Down South" to Yellowstone at some point though. We did go to Grand Tetons in December once and that was actually pretty cool.
I told her if it wasn't for her photo I would have for sure voted for "Momma Bear Caught a Marmot". I do have to say that is a cool photo. Great minds think alike I guess.
My wife submitted several photographs to a contest and one of them was chosen as a finalist for the 2025 Glacier National Park calendar. My wife loves taking landscape and wildlife pictures out in Montana and she was so excited that, as someone still very new to photography one of her photos...
I'm not even sure if @USMC_0311 is still active on this forum, but 12 years ago today they had a litter of puppies and we were fortunate enough to end up with one of the females from that litter. We've had our ups and downs, like a couple years ago when she developed bloat and had to have...
It helps the officer see inside the car to gauge criminal activity. They are not shinning the spotlight at an oncoming vehicle but rather shinning it at a perpendicular angle to the vehicle. It shouldn't affect driver's too much unless you turn your head to look directly into the lights...
Here are a few from our recent trip to Glacier National Park in Montana.

Moose in Fishercap Lake
Sunset at Lake McDonald

This thread took me forever to get thought because I kept having to go to youtube and listen to the good songs people were quoting. Also, some people played a little fast and loose with the classification "Classic Rock n Roll". Those who quoted Gordon Lightfoot I'm looking at you.
Also, for...
K9 Storm, I think, makes one of the best vests on the market. I have seen vests that are bulky and impede the dog's movement and also make overheating more of a concern. This vest provides coverage while maintaining a minimal profile because they custom make the vests for the dogs (and the...
I trapped several muskrat in our pond a couple years ago and similarly was very proud of myself for doing something that I felt was a "dying art". I had plans of trying to trap other species, but I never actually got out to do it. I have nothing but respect for those who are successful at it...
I saw a few other people who listen to Mike Drop (Mike Ritland). I kinda expected to see more as he has on some really interesting guests. One of my favorites was the one with Mike Day who talks about being shot 27 times in one mission and then walking to the medevac helicopter.
I also...
