      Medical Procedure Question

      I had a basil cell carcinoma surgically removed from my neck below the left ear about twenty years ago. Turned out to be benign. The scar is about 3/16 diameter. Never had any other problem.

      I'm 66 and in decent shape other than rheumatoid arthritis. My brain tells me I can still do things I did 30 years ago and my body says "whoa, think this through before doing something that will take days to recover from."

      Chest Rigs for concealment?

      When I used the HPG chest pack, I carried either a Glock Model 40 MOS or a Ruger GP 100 with a 6" barrel. Both fit nicely and made for a smooth draw.

      I have used the adhesive backed body warmers stuck to my tee shirt and another layer over that. No problems for me.

      I too enjoy backpacking in Deam Wilderness. For those cold nights in December and January, I like the warmth of my zero degree sleeping bag. Hot hands body warmers are nice to bring along.

      Any Aeropress users?

      I bought the travel aeropress and a small grinder to take backpacking. My tastes are fairly simple and I use whole bean Eight O'clock Columbian beans. Works for me.
