      I am one of those people. Either the rifle is accurate & reliable or it isn't, IMHO it really doesn't matter what brand-name is roll-marked on it.

      Yup lots of really great scopes on the market these days, Nikon's Monarch line is also really good as is Bushnell's Elite or Millet's LRS's.

      Ah yea true, my youngest daughter does really prefer to shoot her "Lil Joe" over her 10/22 because it's a whole lot lighter. The 10/22 w/the heavier barrel is a heck of a lot more accurate though.

      The S&W internal lock kills the deal for me. I really wish that they (S&W) would have copied the Taurus internal lock on the hammer instead of the side of the action.
