I didn't see this one posted yet. It was referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary February 22, 2021. It has 13 co-sponsors, (all Democrats). The Bill would require ammo dealers too be licensed, (currently a retailer doesn't need a license unless they are an importer or manufacturer)...
Just as the title describes, if passed you will need a permit, (permission) from the Feds to buy a handgun. The assault on the 2nd continues!

Introduced today so I don't have the Senate Bill Number . It's not pretty, bans just about everything that can take a detachable box magazine and any magazine over 10 rounds. It does seem to have a grandfather clause in it.

It would seem that Rep Elizabeth H. Esty (D, CT) has introduced a bill to give States grants if they enact a handgun purchaser licensing, ( and registration since all handgun purchaser would need the license)...
