      S&W Forum Problems?

      Anybody having problems accessing the S&W forum? I haven't been able to get on it for two days now.

      Just bought a gun online...

      ...from a dumbazz. He lives in a nearby town so I volunteered to drive over and do a face-to face transfer. He insists the gun is registered to him so we will need to go to his dealer to transfer it. Shouldn't a gun owning lawyer in Indiana know better?

      6940 on GB

      Auction number 148022539. Does this gun look odd to anyone else? For some reason it looks brownish to me. Maybe just the lighting. Any opinions?

      Colt 6920 or 6940?

      For a first timer that doesn't want to get involved with building one would a 6920 or a 6940 be better? What are the advantages of the 'new and improved' 6940? I'm aware of the fixed barrel nut thing on the 6940 and that doesn't bother me, and I would probably want to use some kind of optics.

      Thinking about a Glock in 40 S&W

      Not quite ready to post a WTB yet because of the unsupported chamber stuff I read about, but the G24 and G35 with longer barrels sure sound tempting. Anybody have one or shot one? Do you know of any on dealer shelves around here?

      Need S&W Gunsmith

      I have a couple of S&W revolvers that need serious action work. Single action pull is fine but double action pull is too heavy and very rough. I would like to find someone reliable around the South/Central area that works on Smiths. Thanks

      Two Fingers on the Trigger?

      In the 'What's Wrong With This Picture' thread there are several references to the lady in question having two fingers on the trigger. Is that a no-no or what? Why?
