Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle sling search

I recently purchased a Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle. While searching for a sling I came across this pic from the media days at Gunsite. 1. What kind of sling is it? 2. Is it useful? I looked at a bunch of pics and no one has it looped up. 3. Any sling recommendations? Feedback is much...

      Heinie Straight Eights-

I put a set of these on a Sig P220 Saturday. After work I put 50 or so rounds down range. The Heinies are worth every penny to me. I was able to easily shoot with both eyes open- (something I personaly can't do with traditional three dot systems. So if your wondering about Heinies...

      Brownsburg Walmart has .380ACP

I snagged a couple boxes of Winchester White box .380ACP. There were two left. $31 for 100 rounds. There also was a bunch of Federal 9mm in 50 round boxes. $10. First time I've bought .380 at Walmart in a couple years.

A friend of mine took care of that this afternoon. :-) It's his first semi-auto and he wanted something in .40. It's his carry and home defense gun plus his wife and daughter are interested in shooting. We talked a lot about what his needs were and I think this Ruger really answered them...

Muzzleloding and thanks to Bill at Bradis

Sixteen plus years ago I bought a Heritage .50cal carbine muzzleloader. I only shot it whenever I was home on leave from The Corps. Poor thing has sat at my dads in upstate NY for all these years. I've got it on my head to harvest a deer this year so I had it sent to me. After cleaning it...

      Sig P220 Carry shooting low.

It has a no. 6 front sight and a no. 8 rear. From 7 yards it's shooting 4" low. At 25 yards it's barely on the target backing (cardboard). Has anyone else ran into this with a new Sig?
