      Best Revolver for a Son?

Get him one of the new blued Colt pythons. 6" .357. My dad has given me so many guns I couldn't list them all. The first one I ever picked out myself ( I was 5 yo) was a Ruger single six .22 with a 6" barrel. We used to watch a lot of westerns growing up and I was a huge fan of the old Clint...

WTS: Mossberg 500/590 Mesa tactical pistol grip stock

Putting up for sale a complete Mesa Tactical pistol grip stock kit for a Mossberg 500/590. Comes with a Geissele buffer tube, ERGO grip and an LMT branded M4 style stock. Has been used but not abused. I decided I prefer traditional stocks on Shotguns. Asking $100.00 but honestly make a...

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

Thanks! Seriously. That is what I needed to hear. I was unaware of the serious crimp jump issue with the LCR 9mm. I'm the kind of guy that when I get an idea in my head even if I know it's a bad one. Like getting into an odd ball caliber for a very specific reason. I have a hard time getting it...

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

Plus add close to 30# of winded 3yo on my shoulders and close to 20# of 9mo on a chest carrier and ounces start to matter fast lol.

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

Yeah I'm on I think the third AIWB holster for my 365. Mine is an XL so the longer barrel does help tipping. But you are right about being the most position/gear sensitive method for carrying. I'm not a big guy but I'm heavier than I was in college that's for sure and I feel it on woods walks...

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

Actually this thread really is helping. But now I'm looking at the Kimber K6Sx alloy framed .38 spl. Still 6rnds in a much more common caliber with plenty of proven SD loads.

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

And this is the best reason not to get into .32 caliber. It's just crazy expensive.

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

Looked at the Smith's and owned a 640 for a while. Kinda wish I hadn't sold it, but that's another story. Went for a short hike with the family yesterday and left the P365 in the truck because I didn't want to apendix carry it and a spare mag through the woods all day. A revolver in the pocket...

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

This is the reason I'm struggling with it. I know .327 isn't *that* much more "powerful" than 9mm. So I'm considering getting a 9mm revolver just because I already stockpile 9mm. I have no other revolvers except an Enfield .32 S&W top break my dad gave me. Which is what got me looking into .32...

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

No, I don't reload. Ammo availability seems to be the #1 deterent for getting one. Seems like it didn't really catch on like Federal hoped it would

Talk me out of .327 revolvers

I've been considering picking up another Ruger LCR since I sold my old one to a friend on here. But the kicker is I've been looking at the .327 mag version. 6 shots in a snubby I can pocket carry is pretty neat and. 327 is slightly more potent than 9mm (depending on load from what I've been...

Anyone know anything about Webley revolvers?

Thanks! The marking between the trigger and grip isn't the clearest. Looks like and upside down G then an I and a proof mark of some kind. I'm guessing wartime markings, Maybe. Any good ideas on where to find a list of maker's marks? No other visible maker's marks but tons of obviously English...
