Anyone done any of the hike in camping on the bloodroot trail in Salamonie? A buddy and I were considering doing a few nights in February and we're wondering how it was. I've never even been to the park, but it caught my eye a few years back and I never got around to reserving a site

It's ok. You'll go through a cornfield or two and the camp sites are up on the elevation quite a bit so far from a water source. My son and I did it as an overnight several years ago and, while I'm glad we did it, didn't have any desire to do it again.
