Rescreening all passengers because someone who had not been screened had a gun.
Okay...
I know, which is why I found it odd that they rescreened everyone because an unscreened Person pulled a gunBeing in the airport, does not equate to being past security with a gun.

Add this to the shots apparently being directed into the ceiling, makes me think this might have been a suicide by cop attempt.Being in the airport, does not equate to being past security with a gun.
Interesting thing is the subject was female, dropped off, goes inside, goes into a restroom, exits the restroom dressed in a hoodie, starts firing.
Police officer engaged the subject almost immediately, striking the subject several times, and she was taken into the custody and taken to the hospital.
Dallas police engage female shooter who opened fire by airport ticketing counter
Dallas police confirmed to Fox News Digital that they are investigating a report of shots being fired at Dallas Love Field Airport and more updates will be forthcoming.www.foxnews.com
I could see that i guessProbably standard protocol. I can imagine there being mass chaos and confusion, and people possibly being able to get past security with prohibited items. Age old misdirection, see the shiny over there so you don't see what I just palmed.
B****es be crazy...Shouting about her marriage apparently
Woman Shot Multiple Times After Opening Fire Inside Love Field Airport, Shooting at Dallas Officer
A woman pulled out a gun inside Dallas Love Field Airport late Monday morning and began shooting toward the ceiling, Dallas police say. The woman was confronted and shot by officers. No other injuries have been reported.www.nbcdfw.com
Yup.
There should be a law against consciously choosing to pay airport food court prices when you are not absolutely forced to by circumstance. So reminds me of a question I have been meaning to ask.....
A guy goes to drop off a passenger at the Indianapolis airport. Parks in short term parking, escorts the passenger to the concourse up to the point where a trained monkey has. sign that reads "TSA area" or some such. Guy says wishes the passenger a good trip. Guy then stops to grab a quick bite in the food court of the airport, exits to parking and leaves.
If the guy is carrying during this entire time, has he broken any laws?
Looks like not in Indiana. IC 35-47-6 only mentions controlled areas of an airport. So reminds me of a question I have been meaning to ask.....

Don't believe the public areas are governed by federal laws as it regards firearms. The "sterile" area does from what I find. That is what I would think.....not aware if the place somehow falls under federal rules.

Appears there are states where the public area is off limits according to this (albeit a bit older article, so some state laws may have changed since then):
Airport Carry is legal in 44 states, but Florida will put you in jail - Florida Carry, Inc.
44 States allow lawful carry of firearms in the common terminal and baggage claim areas of airports. There are federal laws that restrict firearms, knives, and other weapons in the sterile area beyond the security checkpoint but the unsecured areas of the terminal are subject to state law...www.floridacarry.org
Maybe the woke vaxers should use that approach. Unvaxed has covid, all the vaxed have to get mandatory vaxes again…I know, which is why I found it odd that they rescreened everyone because an unscreened Person pulled a gun
