If you wanted to jam your dream of a green energy utopia down on a resistant bunch of neanderthals, would you do anything different than they’re doing now?
As long as it takes for what? For everyone to admit that sanctions aren't working? That a Russian victory, as bad as that is, is inevitable? The green industrial complex is a likely target, yes. Everyone's taking a stupid pill"Germany has prepared a facility to impose a levy on all gas consumers to help suppliers grappling with soaring gas import prices, according to a draft law amendment seen by Reuters.
The government has stopped short of allowing sellers to pass on prices through the supply chain, citing fears of inflation and a cost of living crisis for consumers.
Lawmakers need to identify who can claim and how much they can claim, as well as establishing what mechanism could be used to pass on costs to consumers."

So the "plan" is to pass on the cost to consumers, but to hide it in the form of a levy so it does not look like they are passing the cost(you know because consumers can actually see inflation)to consumers. The entire idea is predicated on bailing out the gas suppliers and distribution companies. That is the point of the amendment period. They are hurting my brain with the double speak.
"Stopped short of allowing sellers to pass on the prices" BUT "What mechanism could be used to pass on costs to consumers" ....ie the levy amendment, which does exactly what is sounds like and lets the sellers pass on prices to the consumer.
How many bureaucrats do you think earned a living coming up with a plan to do exactly what they supposedly wanted to avoid(passing cost to consumers),by calling it something else?
Bureaucrats" No no your gas prices did not go up,your taxes did"
And I thought republicans were the ones "for the people"?
Yeah. Was $4.94 2 days ago here and was $4.94 when I filled up this afternoon. Thinking instead of a price drop it just held steadyAccording to GasBuddy, I'm not seeing the price bump we should be seeing from the new gas tax increase effective today?
.
It is so nice that the tax on gasoline automatically went up today, July 1 at a time when price looked like they were starting down a bit, our great state governing people allowed an automatic increase to take place at a time when just the opposite should be happening.

I bought gas for $4.65/gal at the Marathon station up at the corner by my house. All the other stations were $4.99.According to GasBuddy, I'm not seeing the price bump we should be seeing from the new gas tax increase effective today?

Yeah it’s very obvious they all suck the same douche water leavings.I still chuckle that folks think there is a difference.
