I agree with you. I would not want to do that job even if they issued me a stun gun and permission to use it.
For a while I had a job where I flew a lot, like 7 cities in 5 days flying. I had many problems along the way, but I never took it out on the clerk. I knew they had nothing to do with making the problem and had very little power to resolve it. I did see people really abusive, especially middle aged women. They would go full bore personal attack, as if the clerk was hiding some magic tickets in her back pocket. Men are not angels either but usually don't get personal about it.
As far as I can tell, the vaccine mandate is not a law. yet it is almost universally enforced.

Airline says its all because of bad weather for all the troubles. The FAA came out and made it clear that weather was good and that was not the cause of trouble for one airline. So why would the airline lie about that....?.......Because for bad weather they don't have to put passengers up in motel rooms, not their fault that way.....expect some lawsuits. Also the other airlines say you don't need the vax if you have "religious" reasons. But SW playing hardball and not excepting this.
Their lying likely has nothing to do with the vax.
More worried about stock value. People won't blame them for the weather.
