    Scrounging brass
Much as I hate to add words to a pic thread, I'm going to anyway because I can.
We recently got a 2017 Ford C-Max Energi, which is a plug-in hybrid. We plug it in every night and it charges on 110 in about 7 hours. We have yet to notice a difference in our electric bill. Gets about 16 miles on all electric (about usual for a day's running around locally). After that it turns into a regular hybrid. Never had any problems, even on long trips. Current city driving using both electric and gas gives us about 140 MPG. I'm more concerned about efficiency and saving money than making a statement.

Same with the all-electric we have. Our 1985 Honda Civic wagon bit the dust many years ago - stripped-out camshaft pulley. Plus it was burning about a quart of oil a week. I knew nothing about rebuilding engines back then, and I also didn't know anything about converting a car to electric. But I tried anyway, to learn new skills and keep it out of the junkyard. After many false starts and much learning, got the thing working. We drove it for several years (about 22 mile range) delivering kids and running errands (still held 5 people plus extra storage). It burned out the charger several years ago, and I am in the process of trying to get it running again.

I am not some envrio-wacko, just trying to be efficient and learn. Not trying to impose my will on others, just trying to do the best for my family and maybe help out mother earth a little.

And now, back to the pics:

Seems reminiscent of the beginnings of Stalin's purges. Don't speak out of line... Marine in the brig.

    Disobeying an order.

The rest, seem to be "overcharging"

Anyone remembering Pres. Trump jailing people that spoke out against him?
I seem to remember people having a hard time because he moved an officer.
    But he didn't jail him.
