It's time to do some serious repair work on my pastures. I ordered a 3 point core aerator from an online vendor on Friday. Today I found out they're 12-14 weeks out on delivery. That doesn't do me any good unfortunately and there just isn't a lot out there that I've been able to find within reasonable driving distance. Figured I'd ask if any of the members here have one they would be interested in renting out for a couple of days here in a few weeks?

I'd also be interested in renting a slit seeder, seed drill, etc to replant the pastures if anyone has one of those. I'll till, pulverize, broadcast seed and roll if I have to but I'd much rather use better equipment and hopefully better results.

Check with your County Agent, a lot of counties have seed drills that they rent out. I have rented a drill before from Jay Co. and I have heard that Blackford Co. has one also. It has been a couple of years but I think I only paid like $125.00 to plant 15 acre pasture.

Thank you. We rented one out in Owen Co earlier this year and planted 12 acres of switchgrass. I doubt my county has one available but I’ll check to find out. Thanks for the reminder.

You can also check with sunbeam rentals, they have a location in Noblesville. They rent aerators, although I don't know if that location has a 3 point one or not.
