More on Merrick's Marauders from our local newsies. I needed to rant...

Local and federal prosecutors believe getting illegal guns off the streets can save lives because 93% of the homicides this year in Indianapolis are the result of gun violence. Defaced serial numbers? Looks like an umbrella? How are the GUNS illegal? How about locking up the CRIMINALS who commit CRIME. You know, the ones getting killed and doing the killing?

“If we can interdict this flow of firearms and where firearms leave legal commerce and enter the criminal environment, we can do a great deal to reduce violent crime,” said acting United States Attorney John Childress. Ooooh, interdiction. War on drugs model, or Ho Chi Minh Trail model? That's right, Sleepy Joe rambled something about gun shops selling to the criminals. Since they know where the FFLs are, that's easier than finding the criminals trafficking in firearms. I'm pretty sure interstate commerce of stolen guns is illegal.

That’s why Childress says getting illegal guns out of the hands of criminals is the goal of the federal Firearms Trafficking Strike Force. Again, are the guns illegal? The felon possessing a gun could go away for at least 10 years. Try that!!

Childress believes tracking the movement of illegal firearms can be beneficial because guns found at crime scenes often come from hundreds or even thousands of miles away. To be really effective, you'll have to find, arrest, prosecute, and lock up THE CRIMINALS.

“These guns flow. They move from where they are stolen to larger metropolitan areas,” said Childress. This guy is really obsessed with this. Sounds like you could throw in some RICO charges too. You know, on the CRIMINALS.

Federal prosecutors claim a significant number of guns from Indiana are recovered in crimes in the Windy City.
Look at the big pie piece on the chart, it says "Illinois". But that doesn't push the BS narrative.

If he heads to the South side (VERY doubtful) he better take a serious security detail with him.. They will bust a cap in his ass just as quick as they would anyone else.
I agree that he is an idiot but he can't be that stupid. Well he might be that stupid but his security detail will enlighten him.

This stuff all starts in the home when the kids are KIDS. If there aren`t parents, and even other family around who know how to train them up to be good, honest, hard working and productive citizens, they`ll never have a chance. Period. Some bada** coming in from Washington isn`t going to frighten these battle hardened punks from the streets.

President Biden’s nominee for attorney general Merrick Garland on Monday said there’s legal room for new federal gun control and he wouldn’t rule out policies that ban certain types of guns.

Garland, a federal appeals court judge, told senators at his confirmation hearing that Biden supports new limits and that his job would be to pursue them.

“As I’m sure you know, the president is a strong supporter of gun control and has been an advocate all of his life, professional life, on this question. The role of the Justice Department is to advance the policy program of the administration as long as it is consistent with the law,” Garland told the Senate Judiciary Committee.

All part of the administration plan…

The article is from last February, but it tells us who this guy is.

Garland said he wasn’t sure if the Constitution allows people to carry loaded guns in public --maybe "bear" and "shall not be infringed" aren't as clear to old Merrick as it is to those of us at INGO.

This caught my eye as well. he wouldn’t rule out policies Not laws, policies. Sounds like an end-around by the unelected and unappointed from alphabet agencies.

Today, the mayor of Kansas City was on the tell a vision. He stated "all of the guns used in crimes in my city, Chicago, St. Louis and some of the others don't start out in Kansas City, or St. Louis or Chicago."

He also stated, "Most of our murders are comitted by firearms".

The guy is clearly a toadie....and a stupid one at that.

These ******** are lying mother ******* hellbent on deflecting their own failures, expanding control, and preserving their career as tyrannical nanny.

He, and those of his ilk, are very dangerous.....very dangerous indeed.

He, and those of his ilk, can go to ****.

I doubt any were within 5 miles of old Merrick.

I doubt a candy *** would step foot into places like Austin, Englewood, or Garfield Park.

The candy *** is not there to actually DO anything constructive. He is only there for PR and to ensure the money keeps flowing.

Merrick is nothing but scum......no better than the gangbangers in those areas as far as I am concerned. He can go to ****.

The government picks on guns because it's an easy target. Big media hates them, they don't vote, and they can't defend themselves, being inanimate objects. Criminals get much more respect from big media, if they aren't voting their friends and relatives are, and they are people.

I've always wondered why it's always "gun violence" and not just violence. Seems if they tackled the violence inherent in some that the "gun violence" would naturally fade away as well.

    Just kidding.
