    Meh, I think he's the 'distractor' pre-candidate that keeps all eyes off of the guy they are really grooming. It's too early for them to put their real 'dude' out there. We probably won't see hints of that dude for another 24 months. They will let DeSantis stand out front of the crowd taking all the heat and all the hits...and then unearth some dirty secret of his past or some current scandal and purposefully knock him out of the running.

    The GOP is just like the hard left, they don't want real patriots they want obedient talking heads. They lost control when Trump ran, tried to burry him with the same tactics above but that didn't work; they will do a better job of prepping their next candidate for the big boy chair. Their real candidate won't be introduced with enough time to really dig into his history and that will be a calculated move. I don't think that will be DeSantis. The people may want him, but the party would not allow it. He does not like taking orders from idiots and in this race...the party chooses. :twocents:
