Listen to the podcast. The podcasters were the ones who brought up anglo saxons. All he said was that if the republican party only represents them like they once did with the rich and famous it will be their demise.
The Republican Party, and conservatism in general, has done quite well in a solid and growing majority of states. It is only when patricians like 'W', who stood for nothing much beyond dynasty and power to the Chamber O' Commerce, are at the head of the ticket that it doesn't do well

He hates Trump and Trumpers because we proved this and still prove it every day (and 'It was ¡Jeb!'s turn')

In the real world, just as on INGO, it is a continuing revelation as people show their true colors. Trump is STILL paying dividends.

My opinion? GOP needs to make themselves the aracial party, where racial differences are not acknowledged or legislated and everyone is treated with equal protection under the law and best efforts are made to provide equal opportunity, not outcome. Yeah, being the "white party" is probably a losing strategy. But they don't need to be the "white party". They need to be the party that is selling a vision of America where every damn thing isn't all about race, all the time. I promise you, people of all colors are hungry for it.

You mean something like Trump not caring what color you are as long as you get the job done whether it is being a cabinet secretary or a janitor, and if your motivated he will help you get where you're trying to go as long as you get the job done?

Beyond this, it is all about bettering the United States and its people, hyphenated descriptions not needed.

Not much of fan of Dubya, but I was a big fan of HW. His lifetime body of accomplishments did was overall good for the nation.
I will give you credit for having consistent views. We are at least in agreement that Bush Sr. would appeal to one who would support recent D administrations. Aside from reversed preferences, very similar to my own observation that you could put Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr, Obama, and the arm up Biden's ass in a bag, hang it from a tree limb, spin it, start swinging a bat, and you'll never hit the wrong one.

Coming from a man whose grandpa directly and indirectly aided and abetted corporations who supplied Adolf Hitler and used slave labor at Auschwitz and who's steel killed Allied soldiers. FH
The Bushes are a tie with the Clinton's in my book.
Amazing how few people knew that dirty little Billy was a family friend long before the funds were being laundered through ADFA, long before "no new taxes" was used to put him in the White House.
