      Advice: Handgun for range, fun

      If looking for a revolver, I would also suggest a S&W Model 10. Can be had for less than $400 and great shooting gun.

      If you watch closely you can see the laser sight dot from the long gun of the falling officer travel across the officer standing by the vehicle and also on the door of the police vehicle.

      I think it is best to just let the merganser fly by. Making them taste good would be require totaling masking their flavor, so why bother in my opinion. In addition to tasting bad, I have read that there are warnings about consuming them if they feed from certainty n bodies of water.

      Good to hear about the defender. I was going through a Butler Creek cap about every other year on my deer rifle. Will be trying these next.

      I say lower 150's gross and mid 140's net. Boone and Crocket has a nice scoring sheet online with good instructions on how to measure. Just fill in the blanks and then you can print out the sheet which will give you both subtotal (net) and final (gross) score...

      If you use the on-line Boone and Crocket scoring sheet you can print out and it will give you the "sub total" which is the net score. Pretty detailed instructions on which measurements to take for those who are not sure how to score...

      So I tried my hand at stippling for the first time

      I am generally not a fan of stippling, but that is one of the nicer jobs I have seen. The first touch with the iron had to make you just a bit nervous.
