      Thanks for the advice. But will Tordon kill mature trees? Many of my thistle plants are near trees that I don't want to kill. And with a sprayer, it's going to get a little bit everywhere.

      Good suggestion! I recently sprayed down a whole bunch of thorn bushes using glyphosate alone. I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks if that is sufficient, or if I need to add other chemicals (as you suggested) to improve absorption.

      Any SmartThings home automation users out there?

      I use it for a few things. There are many inexpensive sensors and devices that are SmartThings compatible and easy to set up. The app is a little flakey to set up the first time, but no issues after that.

      Are you talking about American Arms? They do the electronic fingerprints and have a Silencer Shop Kiosk. But they moved to Bedford. Not terribly far, but no longer on the southwest side of Bloomington

      Not in New York. (at least not legally). Very anti-gun. And if you're "doing tourist stuff" there, you are no longer protected by USC 926A, so you can't even "possess" an unloaded handgun. I suggest you research first. You may be in New York (prison) longer than expected...
