I70 - Why So Bad Repair?

Because we spend money on more roads and then complain we don't have enough money to repair the roads we have. And when we do, we contract it out to companies who cut corners and build roads they know will fail in 2 years and then they'll get to charge to fix it again.

      300 blk 220's over accurate1680 8.5 inch barrel

Not Berry's... my 300 loads are below. 11.3" barrel. All stayed subsonic. The Lil Gun seems to do better gas wise. With the gas block wide open and the silencer on, it'll cycle good, but won't lock open on the last round sometimes. Someone told me I need a slower powder with a higher charge...

Forewarned is forearmed!!! Butler Co. (OH) sheriff addresses what he learned at conference

It's almost time to ignore the federal government and go to war on our own.

Forewarned is forearmed!!! Butler Co. (OH) sheriff addresses what he learned at conference

I honestly think we're past the point of doing anything about it, and as citizens the only thing we can do now is prepare for the fallout.

      Dan Wesson 1911 experience

I have a Valor .45. Had the stripping block machined for the disconnector and I added an ambidextrous safety. After tuning the mags, it's really smooth. The checkering on the grip is a bit too much, and there's probably a little improvement to be made with the trigger. As far as fit/finish...

Organizing my ar15 parts for future builds and maintenance.

Plano organization boxes. I bought a 2 pack to use for all my reloading small parts (comparator tips, allen keys, case prep tools, etc.). How does it happen.... poor planning. Follow the logic on that one. You bought a stock rifle and replaced with aftermarket parts.... pretty common. Or...

      I'm buying 10 mags-1911

I have a few different manufacturers. With the help of a member here, who trusted me enough to send me one of his, I learned tuning the magazine is more important than a brand. Most of what have been listed use good steel. My Dan Wesson mags (I think are metalform) and my Checkmate mags all...

WTS: SOLD Sig Sauer .380 P232 SL Stainless

Asking $450. Greenfield/Mt. Comfort area. My father passed away in May 2023. This was his carry piece. Mom doesn't have the hand strength to wield it and asked me to sell it. He as the original owner. Purchased in 2001 at Acme Firearms. Doesn't show much holster wear. If it came with a...

Got a freebie Sar Firearms bag right on the way in. Franklin Armament T-shirt for just getting on their mailing list. Free Hornady trucker style hat.... yes FREE. A couple free patches that weren't free for everyone for talking with the reps. Stag Arms Stormtrooper was the best one of those...

So looking at maps... what is "hall A"? The NW corner labeled "special events"?

      2023 NRA Convention

Going tomorrow. Just heard on the news certain areas will be GFZ by the Secret Service if you want to see Trump/Pence speak. No firearm check stations either. You have to disarm to go hear a politician speak about not taking your guns away. Seems a bit ironic..... I'm going to just check...
