      Beretta Neos is a good choice. Comfortable grip angle and 6 inch barrel is really accurate. Can be a little heavy for some shooters.

      Work Boots - Name your Brand

      I wear Bates work boots with side zipper and composite safety toe. Way lighter than a steel toe and won't conduct electricity(or set off those evil metal detectors). Once you try side zippers, I am afraid that you will forever forsake lace up boots. As I get older, easier is my motto.

      I really like my GSG1911. New grips and sights to make it match mt favorite 1911. So far it has eaten everything that I have fed it. The faux silencer looks quite cool on it, but has an adverse affect on accuracy.

      Prvi Partizan good stuff or bad?????

      I use the .308 168 gr match in my DPMS LR308. Not quite as good as Federal Gold but not nearly as expensive either. If you are not shooting past 250 yards you probably will not even notice the difference. Even then, if you do not have a sub MOA gun it really won't matter.

      1. Heavy - DPMS LR308, 24" heavy match barrel, scope, Harris bipod, Magpul PRS stock, no magazine = 15.4 pounds. 2. Heavier - Savage 110 BA 300 Win Mag with scope, bipod, no magazine = 19.7 pounds.

      A great day at the range!

      Had a great day at the range today. My only question is "Why were there so many more people there today than in weeks past?" I am beginning to think that most people are fair weather shooters. You just can't beat a good zero degree day to burn powder. It keeps the barrel cool.

      Fun Guns

      Savage 110 BA in 300 Win Mag. Super accurate and with it's weight and muzzle break recoil is really a joke. Using managed recoil rounds, it kicks less than my .223 Remington 700. And boy is it LOUD!!!!
