      .458 socom or .450 bushmaster?

      My plan is the DFYM special ,buy a AR, then a bushmaster 450 upper, 2 guns, 1 lower. Buckoytes beware! $1450 out the door all day long. DFYM

      I know I live near town, but very rural(actually near a state park and resivoir), but I have neighbors. Everyone knows when someone shoots, and nobody just shoots for fun, Except one neighbor. I think if you are friendly, and are a good neighbor and show that you exercise safety measures...

      Blueing help

      What else is there? I would love to know what options there are. I used Birchwood Casey Super Blue 25 years ago on a Remington 1148, and it's held up well. But it's far from "super blue" not very much depth, and not very high end. Can you parkarize at home?

      Now that 450 bushmaster is legal, why would you want a 458? SOCOM? Has anyone chambered a S&W 460 in a black rifle yet?

      Any laws regarding use of force against animals on your property?

      Back when I was 18 I shot the offending dog, it cost me $800. I think for future refrence, hamburger on a paper plate, and a cement block on a tree limb will cost me about $792 less.

      why would you hunt with a flint lock, it's like rolling dice . . . and the odds are not in your favor, nor can you dependable put the animal down with a second shot. Flint lock and a real muzzleloader combo?
