      Beretta PX4 Compact Carry

I'm not near you, but my brother-in-law has one, so I can give a little feedback. Mechanically, it is a PX4, so weight, action, will be almost the same as a PX4 compact. Biggest upgrade: the sights are really good. Probably worth the cost upgrade alone. The rounded edges and better (?) trigger...

what pistol safe is INGO using?

I have a V-Line with a simplex lock for my 357. Works well, no batteries. I have a shotgun shotlock solo vault with a mechanical lock on my 870, it was a little more fickle to setup, but is also good. Both run $100-150. Neither are massive, burglar proof boxes, but both will keep kids out.

Hollow ground screwdriver for Ruger sp101 ?

I could be wrong, but I think most screwdriver bits are hollow ground, most screwdrivers not. One thing to note, the SP101 screw should not be very tight, so you aren't likely to mangle it. The locator pin under the inserts is what keeps the grip from moving around. The screw basically just...

      tavor 9mm red dot recommendation

To give the weird answer, could you shim the mount on the rail to cant it slightly, allowing more adjustment in the direction needed? This would be the cheapest attempted fix, rather than buying a new mount or optic. You could probably trim a piece of a feeler gauge or something to fit in.

      Astigmatism and sighting options

I have astigmatism pretty bad in my right eye, but only minor in my left. I've found that a sharp red dot in the left eye will be blurry in the right. I'm okay using them out to about 25 yards. After that it is pointless, the dot obscures too much of the target (like completely hiding most of an...

.38 revolver instead of 9 mm

Weight isn't always as much a concern as you might think. I IWB carry an SP101 357 mag in a clipless Sticky holster. While it may shift slightly after a long car ride, I really have no issues with it. I do have to wear a belt or it will move more. The LCR moved a lot less in a Sticky when I had...

      Next Big Advance in Handguns

I think much of the future tech in relation to firearms is going to be computerized optics (already happening some), and polymer-based technologies. Steel (and aluminum) are expensive to manufacture compared to plastics. Better polymers, better polymer guns. We already have a polymer 357 mag...

      Good Afternoon Hoosiers

Finally joining the forum, lurked around a few times, and living right across the river from Evansville means I sometimes spend as much time in E-ville (say it, it's funny, especially true when stuck in bridge traffic) as Henderson.
