      Modern optics-capable semi-auto (AR10 platform?) in 7.5 Swiss. Don't have the scratch for an STG 57.

      Green circle dot recommendations

      I would recommend a Holosun 403 with the gold dot. I know it's not circle/dot, but a dot should be all you need with a 15/22. The 593 with circle dot I haven't found below $200. But...the gold dot was a game changer me. So much nicer than red or green.

      You're right, I wasn't thinking about it in relation to a 13.7. Appears it's .5" shorter than the Nox.

      The nox threw up too much flash for me due to the comp ports. Prefer the Forward Controls keymo flash hider.

      One I really like that kinda flies under the radar is the Geissele Super Tricon. Technically breaks like an SSA, but a unique trigger design that kinda makes it more in-between the SSA and SSA-E.

      NRA America's Rifle Challenge

      I've taken two of the RR carbine classes at Bedford and really enjoyed them both. Qualified at one and came darn close on the other. Unfortunately I've since moved, so this seems like the next best thing. Just very little info on the event out there.

      Just an FYI, it looks like this event is rimfire only for those thinking of bringing an AR. Per the event page... "This will be a RIMFIRE ONLY event. Only rifles chambered in a rimfire caliber such as .22LR will be allowed."
