I'll join if I don't have other plans on the date you pick. Thanks for offering to do this!

      Parabellum in March?

Depending on the date, I will probably attend - in the light or in the dark.

      BYO full auto ranges?

Proteq is FA friendly but might be a little far for you.

      Suppressor educational information

Another good reference for performance is https://thunderbeastarms.com/sound/summit2023/ The silencer summit has all the details about test setup so the results can be recreated by others. Jay at Pewscience thinks his method is a trade secret and only shares results that cant be independently...

      Suppressor educational information

For rimfire, the Rugged Oculus and Dead Air Mask are typically highly rated. Both are around $400 and are made of stainless steel so you can use aggressive cleaning methods. Since they are stainless steel, they are on the heavier side. You wont notice the weight on a rifle, but you will on...

If you can list out the firearms you want to suppress, and priorities, we can help lead you in the right direction. Have you shot with a silencer before? First pistol Suppressor

Have you tried a Fly 9? I have both the Obsidian 9 and the Fly 9, and they sound the same, but the Fly 9 feels like it adds no weight to the pistol, so the balance stays the same. The Obsidian is a great can, but it's a tank on a handgun.

      First pistol Suppressor

Thunderbeast has been around longer than Rugged. They specialize in silencers for precision rifles but have expanded their portfolio.

      First pistol Suppressor

If you want another great option, check out the Thunderbeast Fly9. It is made out if titanium and is significantly lighter than the Obsidian. You can definitely feel the weight of the Obsidian on a handgun, but the Fly 9 is so light that it feels like you are shooting without a can.

      Lpvo or red dot/magnifier?

When you are shooting from ideal shooting positions, you wont see any of the downsides of a LPVO. When you try to shoot off your left shoulder or around a barrier you will see that it's hard to maintain the proper eye relief to see the reticle. If you train enough, you can overcome this, but if...

      Prints look good enough?

Should be fine. I've never heard of a fingerprint card being rejected if the info in the header boxes is all correct.
