Our department carried .40 caliber Glocks for the past six years. We just switched over to the Glock 47 with a Holosun 507C sight.
They sure don't have much character but what they have is mean and nasty. Only have to ask yourself why soooo many LE agencies around the globe trust their lives...
I have a friend that is going to be visiting Indy and he was asking if I knew of any gunshops in the area that stock traditional black powder supplies.
Any input would be greatly appreciated, so that I can pass it along to my friend.
Thanks, in advance.
I'm a big Beretta fan. I was very reluctant to turn in my 1911 and get issued an M9, decades ago,, but after the first year, I never looked back.
I enjoy my current 92G but I would personally never spend 900 bones for a Beretta. JMO.
Didn't really understand the changes in her form. Her first technique of gripping the forearm looked awkward as hell and proved to be not as steady but she reverted back to it a second time and quickly changed up, again.
Loaded up what little .450 Bushmaster brass I had setting around and then switched over to .45 Colt.
Loaded some 250 grain Hornady XTP and 240 grain truncated cone, hard cast, both over Unique powder.
Loaded up some .303 British, this morning, in preparation for an upcoming, out of state, deer hunt.
Sierra 180 grain spire points over a modest charge of IMR 4831 and CCI 200 LRPs. Running out at 2275 fps
Good thing is, you are not going to beat the brakes off of a red dot on a 9mm carbine, you you don't have to break the bank on a sight, if funds are tight.
Can always upgrade down the road, if you feel the need.
I hit a lot of LGSs and gun shops, in general, when traveling. I have done this for close to 35 years. The men to women ratio in all of those shops, in all of those years has probably been 85/15.
That being said, I don't ever recall hearing comments from customers, like the OP has experienced...
I think your plan on shortening the barrel, with the already cut down stock would leave you with a usable shotgun. I have never been a fan of pistol grip shotguns, myself.
