I've been down there quite a bit and only now beginning to see some ground scrapes. I have been passing on does waiting for horns but I have yet to see any in the woods. This is typically the week they turn on but it depends largely upon the weather. Its a bit warm this week so it will likely turn out better for the gun hunters. I don't venture down there during shotgun season as there's way too many hunters in the woods. It slows back down during muzzle loader and 2nd season. Good luck!
