My wyoming Bear loads are 240 gr hornady XTP with 21.4 Gr AA no. 9 Chrono at 1,162 out of my RUGER black hawk, - 8.1 gr of Red Dot produces a velocity of 934 and is a little more comfortable to shoot - these both work well in my back packing 45 colt Henry lever gun.

have you tried the aa-9 with the 240 GR Hornady XTPs-- 21.4 gr gives me 1,162 f/s and 21.9 gives me 1,183 with a ruger Blackhawk with 5 inch barrel - have yet to try the chronograph with a henry big boy with 20" barrel - next trip to the range will get the data
