      Any reviews of MALC or Panther Ridge around bloomington/columbus?

      Looking for some practical and tactical courses to take this year. Marksman and defensive rifle primarily, but open to anything. Both MALC and Panther Ridge popped up in my search- how are they for hands on training? Anyone visited?

      I remember seeing a NV class through MALC- haven't used them previously- so no comment on quality, but could be a starting place.

      90's mosin prices

      I bought mine for $99 in 2011/12. It was straight out of the crate, they had maybe 3-4 crates and were selling 'em cheap! Rounded receivers, not hex mind you.

      Anyone adding livestock trying to avoid food shortages this year?

      Backyard chickens are great. We had 6 at our last house. We were giving away 6 eggs per week to the neighbors. Bought us a lot of goodwill in the neighborhood. We're looking for a place to get pullets in Indianapolis. All we've been able to find are chicks. Anyone know of a good spot?

      Anybody have any experience with the laser and fake bullet practice stuff I see advertised?

      I use 'surestrike' I bought it from Midway. There's a few apps that can track your hits and score your shooting at home. It takes a minute or two to setup a tripod or something for your phone and get the target calibrated, but it helps alot to get dry fire practice in with actual results.
