      Diapers are worse than deer guts. Gloves help big time. You can do it, it's a small annoyance but worth it.

      I had a similar experience as Old Dog but with my Marlin 1894. Also broke the scope in the process. Loctite has held for years but I always wonder if the last shot might have knocked them loose again.
