      Chilean Mauser Price Check

      Thanks guys I appreciate the info. I picked it up for $200, the action is smooth and tight and it has been shot recently. There is some pitting underneath the wood but it is minimal. Can't wait to find some ammo...I hope.

      Sorry no pics I don't own it...yet. The pitting is on the bolt handle and around the front sight. The bore is in good shape with good rifling. And yes it is the short carbine model.

      I have stumbled upon a Steyr 1912 Chilean short rifle in 7mm. The good news: all matching #'s, good bore, functions well.
