      90's mosin prices

Not that long ago, late 90's/early 2000's CAI sold the 3 for 39.95 each, or damaged one for 29.95. Most of the damaged where missing sights, screws, or magazine covers.

Anyone have a Mosin Nagant 91/38?

Had 2 of them, but like Jon they where moved out to make room for more sniper rifles.

What is the most beautiful rifle ever made, to you?

      It's a toss-up with me, The SVD or the H&K G36

Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

LOL, amazing how you have now abandoned the M1C in favor of the 03a3 to try and defend your position on the value of a Mosin. I am out.

Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

1903a3's ? no, especially since National Match 03' where produced between 1928 to 1940, and 03a3 production was 1942-1944. However USMC unertl sniper rifles (1903a1) where produced by USMC armorers from National Match rifles.

You are a legend in your own mind sir, and I find it funny that you now want to compare a National Match Rifle against a WW2 PU. Why not a legit 03a4 from WW2? Might it be that 04A4's didn't use national match barrels, or is it because there scopes were sub par compaired to other WW2 scopes...

Never said better rifle, just a better sniper rifle. But don't let the truth stand in the way.

Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

Guess the Marines on Guadalcanal and Army troops in North Africa didn't get the memo.

Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

LOL, nice try, the Mosin also can shoot put further than 600 yds, put heavy ball ammo in one and run a PE or PEM set up and 800 yds + . I have shot all types of WW2 sniper rifles and hand down, and American snipers rank low on the list. The PE, PEM, PU, K98k HT, the No4mk1(T) even the Type 99...

Is anyone actually selling Mosin rifles for $450 plus?

Mosin PU hands down, good to 600yds with LB ammo, and a very simple to use 2.5 power scope that had good low light qualities. The Garand 1st off didn't even hit the field till mid 1945, and then in the M1C version. The M81/M82 scope with the offset mount was far from being an ideal setup. It...
