Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses in Baltimore

Two items that have been in shortage and hard to obtain of late are steel and concrete. Where are they going to get supplies to rebuild? The city of Lafayette is behind schedule on several projects due to a concrete shortage.

Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapses in Baltimore

Yep. Trusses work great for gravity, but have almost no lateral strength. Ever see video of "Galloping Girtie"? Better known as the Tacoma Narrows bridge.

Palmetto Arms, NOT Palmetto State Armory

I think it was probably cut down. The person that gave it to me said the barrels were WAY too short ( to be legal) when he acquired it so he removed the barrels and disposed of them.

Palmetto Arms, NOT Palmetto State Armory

I was just given a little jewel, I think, but it's hard fir me to tell. I was presented with a receiver and fore end for a double barrel 12 gauge with exposed hammers and double triggers. The receiver is marked, Palmetto Arms Philadelphia, PA. No other markings except the serial number. It is...

      Rock island 10 mm

Yes, I have an opinion on EVERYTHING, but I do love the RIA 10mm 1911. I bought one shortly after seeing them offered and have not been disappointed.

      45ACP Guns

Another vote for the Tanfoglio Witness. I picked up a .45acp version in the "Wonder finish" at an estate auction years ago. The auctioneer only identified it as a Tanfoglio and never mentioned Witness. Many people at the auction, but less than a handful bid on the Witness. I walked out the door...

      Glad to be here

Welcome to Ingo from Lafayette 6 years in Indiana, o.k. where did you move from? Are the laws here, as you know them, any better/worse than where you used to live? So many questions... Do you shoot firearms too, or just build them? Do you like mil-surp, or just ebr's? Do you shoot competitively...

It Just Gets Worse -- Dept of HHS Weaponized to Create Gun Registry and Seize Vets Guns Via VA

I'm a pog. 6076 aviation ground support equipment hydraulics/pneumatics tech (bubble chaser). There are rotten apples everywhere. Thank goodness there aren't more than there are.
