      There is only one guarantee in life, and that is that EVERY day, As I drive to and from work from Clarksville to sellersburg along 31, there must be someone in front of me that insists on doing 10-15 mph under the speed limit. Every. Single. Damn. Day!!!

      Once or twice a week I see one as I turn in the driveway at work. He always darts across the lot and goes over by the tree line and sits and watches me as I get out of the truck and go in the building.

      A rare aviation sighting!

      I used to be able to identify the warbirds by sound, but in the last couple of decades you just don’t see or hear as many. I think the two coolest sounding aircraft I’ve heard were the F14 tomcat and the F4u corsair. Both have a sound that you never forget.

      This was only the third time I’ve ever seen one in the real. One of the other times was maybe 25 years ago at Thunder, and once at the Dayton air show.

      The Ohio river is a prime route for blackhawk helicopters from Ft Knox. I see them every night flying up and down the river. Sometimes they show on flight radar, but most times they don’t.

      Had a B52 fly over the house today! Also a C17, KC135, and numerous fighters old and new, but this one is rare to see.
