Re: Rep comment about "subscription government"": cribbed from a number of sources: RA Heinlein's "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress", Michael Z. Williamson's "Freehold" series, and Lee Corey's "Manna." Also a little bit from L.Neil Smith's "The Probability Broach." Heinlein's book is a classic & still available. Correy's "Manna" is from the 1980s as is Smith's "Probability Broach." Don't know if either is available anymore. Williamson's series is available through Baen Books. -
