      I just checked my application status, it says approved with the issue date of 1/7/22. I started my application on 10/30.

      After I got my figerprints done it took about a week before I was allowed to go to my local Sheriff's department and they told me it would take 6-8 weeks before I would receive my license in the mail.

      I found out from shopping with my wife a few weeks ago, what I thought she would like isn't what she picked out. May be best to let him pick it out, it can still be a surprise just don't tell him where you are taking him and when you get there tell him to pick something out.

      I'm a independent distributor for a popular snack company that sales product into grocery stores like Wal-Mart and Kroger. We will be having another price increase in January that will be bigger than the one we had back in September. I think we are in for a bumpy ride for the next 12 months.

      Went to my local Sheriffs Office on 12/8, said everything was good and I would receive my permit in 6-8 weeks. I didn't think to ask at the time so I'll ask you guys. Am I allowed to carry while waiting for my permit?

      9mm recommendation for Daughter

      Me and my wife both have smaller hands, we just bought a Ruger Max 9 and a S&W EZ 380. Both feel great with our small hands but currently its hard to find 380 ammo.

      Entry level safe

      Any suggestions? I'm just needing a fire proof safe to keep inportant stuff in and can keep kids away from the guns. I'm not to concerned with somebody breaking in and stealing anything that is inside of the safe.

      I've been buying ammo online from Palmetto State Armory, they seem to be cheaper than my local shops and they have 380 ammo that nobody else seems to have.

      They also have a mail-in-rebate for $50 with it this week making it $499. I'm buying one tomorrow.

      Dunham's and NICS delay for Christmas present.

      I've bought 4 guns in the last 5 weeks and have been delayed every time. The 1st time it took 4 days, 2nd & 3rd time 3-4 hours. I bought the 4th gun tonight and they called back in 20 minutes, I was still in the store looking around when they called.
