      reliable thin 9mm pistol?

Love my P6. I got it from another INGO member. It's had the ramp polished. I was under the impression that P6's need to have some ramp work done to feed HP rounds. Mine feeds them fine, but can someone clarify this for me? P6 needs work done to the feed ramp for HP's and P225's don't? Is...

      Sig or not to Sig?

Deadeye - Thanks, I'll have to do that! I will say this - I like to carry my Walther PPS, I love it's concealability, size, weight, everything. But there's something about my P229 that makes it my favorite weapon to have with me.

      What was your first Handgun?

XD .40 I got right here on INGO from another member's father. What a great gun to learn to shoot with. I've got huge bear paws as hands, but it fit pretty well with a Hogue slip-on. I've added a couple in the last year, Sig P229, Walther PPS (both in .40), and a Sig P6.

      Sig or not to Sig?

Deadeye, I wasn't trying to correct you as much as I was trying not to get excited about a cheaper option being available. I love my 229. And I hate the price of .40 right now. I get it when I can and where I can for as cheap as I can, but that doesn't change the fact that I'd love to be...

      Sig or not to Sig?

Do you not need a conversion slide to shoot the .22 out of a 226/229? Last I saw, these were not cheap ($250-300ish) investments, no?

      Sig or not to Sig?

The Texas Rangers and Ohio State Patrol Officers use them as duty weapons. That said, I prefer the P229. I find a 5 inch barrel is just more difficult than necessary to conceal. Can't go wrong with a SIG...:twocents:

      Newbie _ concealed carry

Any thoughts on the forthcoming S&W Bodyguards?

      Looking for a pocket pistol

What, if anything, has anyone heard about the S&W Bodyguard 380? It's supposed to be available in May, yeah?

      +1 for nofear

Smooth transaction, class act guy, and the property in question was clearly very well maintained while he owned it. :yesway:

      Im New

I'm a noob as well. I read all I could find before making my purchase (XD .40 w/4" barrel), and I love it. Rented a Glock 19 9mm to shoot them side by side and hated the Glock. My father-in-law was the opposite. He loved the Glock and told me to keep my XD away from him. I was at a gun shop...

      Springfield XD9 SubCompact

I was at Popguns at Post and Washington on the East Side last week and they had a XD 9 SC as a rental. Like many other ranges I've been to, they'll only let you shoot rounds you buy there through their pistols. $11 for the rental and $20-25 or so for a box of 50 rounds if memory serves...

      Walther P22 Update

You know, I was just looking at one the other day...it sounds like people haven't noticed too many issues (besides the OP's). Is that a fair assessment? It's just that it would be cheaper to buy a new P22 and 5000 rounds of ammo than 1500 rounds for my 40. It becomes awful tempting .

Just Picked up a XDm .40

I'm about to show just how green I am - what's the advantage of buying a .40 cal and turning it into something else?
