Do we not all remember going to the doctor for certain illnesses in the past only to be told "It's a virus, it'll just have to run it's course. Now if you develope a secondary infection, we can treat that with antibiotics."
So how did we get here with a VIRUS? Hmmmmm?
Let me begin by explaining a litle medical history. I tend to get bronchitis this time of year when I get out in the cold too much. Sometimes it turns into pneumonia.
I'm not a doctor but I do know what my body feels like.
We contacted the doctor when the chest pain/shortness of breath began...
I believe that mine began last Tuesday, the 4th. Headache and slight tickle in my chest.
My wife started on Monday so as I was trying to keep her comfortable then the backache began and the fever.
I have 4 grandchildren just down the road a piece. All of them including mom and dad are still...
You are correct. It seems that our goverment tends to forget the difference between someone who dies WITH covid, and someone who dies FROM covid. There is a difference.
Ist, I have to say Kudos on you draw capabilities. I am envious.
2nd, I too am suffering from OES (old eye syndrom)
3rd, not much help but sounds like whichever EDC you like the best and carry the most comfortable.
4th, I am extremely jealous that you had range time, not really. I am...
I'm glad that you have decided to work on that. It can be a confidence builder as well.
Remember, it doesn't matter that you'rethe fastest at the range, but that you know what you can do when the chips are down.
Also I might add, knowing when not to draw can be more important than a fast draw...
I did finally pick my wife up a S&W M&Pin .380. I hope that will keep her shooting a bit more for a while, although 9mm rounds are cheaper.
Me, I picked up a 1911 in .22. I'll just put the 45 away. (Yeah, in the holster, LOL)
Old Joe, Joe stammered, uh, said it best. "We need to protect the protected from the unprotected, er protect the unprotected form the protected." Well, something like that!
Wow, it's time to party!
Visited my father-in-law in the nursing home, went to the grankids house for pizza, watched a couple Walker, Texas Ranger re-runs.
I got my shower and off to bed.
I don't plan to get up til next year! LOL! (sure hope I won't look lke Rumplestilskin)
Happy New Year to...
