I honestly don't know. I know if you follow his FB postings it does come up - rarely - but I've seen it thrown out. You never know who's serious and who's not. Jim is a business man in Seymour and I don't know if he wants to leave that.
From Jim's perspective - IF he has aspirations of DC - the future of conservatism in the US (IMHO) is to pick much better "hills to die on". There are so many that conservatives in the past have died on and lost elections because people quite honestly - conservatives too - don't want to fight...
