Nah, there are already enough guns out there chambered in .40 that it'll be common for a long long time. 10mm never had a tenth of the market saturation that .40 has enjoyed.
If they're having so many issues, could a guy even contact them to get the upgrade done? I'm in the same boat, I have an original guardian that I want to get upgraded.
I do a lot of buying/selling/trading, and last year, over the course of about a month and a half, the same guy kept offering me what was clearly an SBR (AR not unlike the one you posted OP) for various items I had listed. I warned him the first 2 times, both warnings went unheeded, and when he...
I own several pistols that don't have a mag disconnect. I have a Ruger Mk III that had one, but it was removed. I think you're right, if it had been just like my Glock it wouldn't have happened, but it's still my dumb@$$ fault for sticking a loaded mag into it while trying to take it down...
She was actually really chill about it, she was glad I was ok. She didn't know for sure it was a gunshot at first, but she came in to check on me, apparently she was calling for me and I didn't hear her. When she realized it was a gunshot, and that I was ok, she was more relieved than upset. I'm...
Yup, the wife and kids were all home. I always keep my guns pointed in a safe direction when I do have to pull the trigger, and it saved any injuries, but I still feel like scum for letting it happen.
After 15 years of handling firearms on an almost daily basis, I finally had an ND. I thought it would never happen to me, I was too careful, followed all the rules, etc... but it did, while I was attempting to field strip my new Ruger LC9s. I cleared the gun by pulling the mag out and cycling...
I have a P22, a Sig 1911-22, and a 22/45 lite barrel on a mk III frame. I can't tell you why, but I've fired many 22s suppressed, and it seems as if models with a tensioned sleeve barrel are quieter. My mk III originally had a threaded bull barrel, the lite upper is noticeably quieter. I like...
Talk about not getting it. This isn't for use during a "when split seconds count" scenario. It's for when the officer has plenty of time and distance to prepare. Say there's a standoff with a guy that has a knife and is threatening himself. This would allow the officer to deploy considerable...
I ran across 25 lbs of Black Mag 3 blackpowder substitute, and I've done limited research on it. Folks say it burns clean, and with reduced recoil with the same velocity because of the pressure curve it has. What do you guys think it's worth per pound? I'm going to keep some, but I don't shoot...
I own a strikefire. I really like it, with one exception. The night vision mode button is right out at the edge, and very exposed. It's easy to hit the button by mistake, and think your dot is broken, because you can't see it. Be aware of that, and it's a great dot. It's crisp, easily bright...
