      Colt Buys LWRC, 60M

Keep in mind that open contracts have value that can add to the purchase amount.

      S&W Bodyguard .380

My magazines hung up on the magazine release when new as did others commenting. I found that just a light tap with the open palm of the hand on the bottom of the magazine when inserted made it slide in just fine. Just repeat a few times with each magazine. I don't believe it needs to go back...

      Insurance for Firearms

Check with your insurance agent to see if they have a special "rider" to your homeowners policy for specific coverage for firearms, jewelry, cameras, etc. in the coverage value for the items. You can always change the coverage up or down at a later time.

OK, do I sell my collection?

Start by paying off the highest interest rate loans first

OK, do I sell my collection?

It is a hard decision whether to sell or not. Be selective, keep the ones you really want and ones that you know you may have trouble replacing later if you wanted to. Keep the ones that have been given to you by your parents or grandparents, of ones you may want to pass on to your children or...

357 Mag Revolver for Home Defense?

A revolver in .357 is an excellent choice for protection inside or outside the home. It is simple to use and as previously stated you have the options of .38, .38+P, or the .357 for your intended use. With ammunition hard to find right now the various ammo types that may be available is also...

      My Colt Buntline Inheritance

Great find and congratulations. I had one exactly like your Colt Buntline .22 with stag grips and a hunter western holster. I bought it new in '66. I used it for squirrel hunting and plinking. I had a lot of fun with that little colt, great gun. That is one of the handguns I wish I'd never...

Carrying on a motorcycle while picking up kid at school?

If you go to a school in an auto and step out putting your feet on the ground, you have not remained in the vehicle; if you are on a motorcycle then stop and put your feet down, you can straddle a motorcycle and be standing, no longer sitting. Something to think about.

      Tumbling rounds

If it was actually a photo of a tumbling round it would have a more consistant pattern. The bullet could not change rotation that quickly, in that short of distance. I believe the photo is capturing the ejected casing. It is a cool photo though especially with a cell phone.

      Need a safe.

As stated, get the biggest and best you can afford. You will be able to put more guns in it in the future. Keep in mind you may also want to put other valuables in it such as a nice camera, collectable items, and etc.

Opinions needed! First long gun for a 12 year old.

The 22/410 may be a little heavy. Try the bolt action .22 or maybe the little lever action .22 by Henry.

      Looking for opinions on a S&W 686

The 686 is an excellent handgun with a nice feel, has a smooth trigger, and accurate. You be glad you bought it.

      Winchester 1890

If it is labeled for 22 Long the chamber may not be deep enough for the additional length of the 22 Long Rifle cartridge
