      LPVO for my rifle?

Same Situation here- property and some critters to manage, Ground Hogs, Coyotes etc….I have 4 set ups, Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8, Burris RT6, Burris MTAC 1-4, and Vortex PST 1-4. My go to is the Burris MTAC 1-4, with the Vortex PST close close 2nd. However My oldest loves the 1-8 on an...

      Home defense shotgun suggestions??

Rem 870 or Mossburg(88, 500, 590) will both work just fine. For stock options I would 100% add on the Magpul SGA stock. Looks odd but is by far the best ergo option. Shot gun is not 100% drop safe, even with safety on. Keep it in “cruiser ready” condition. With an empty chamber - dry...

Looking for guidance from AR rifle hunters (ammunition)

I agree. I also chose Grendel as my hunting AR of choice. Ballistics are great. But right now it seems ammo is hard find, but seems 300BO is always in stock.

      Glock models question

Yes feels way skinnier side to side, and front to back (back strap to trigger) is a little less than the 19 too.

      Lightweight AR options

Barrel will be one of the biggest contributors in actual weight and “felt” weight. I have 2 almost identical 16” builds, One has pencil barrel, the other a standard M4 profile. Night and day felt difference. Same thing in my 2 Grendel’s - 1 has a thick Saturn barrel, the other is a...

      10mm: Glock (20), Springfield or M&P?

Gun tube over fine all go back to Glock as king….new guns come out and are hot, sexy, “the Glock beater” etc….but after months and sometimes years Glock still reigns king it seems. I have a 40 with a Delta Point and love it. Carry in a Kydex chest holster from Gunfighters Inc (absolutely...

      Sausage Gravy

Pretty much same here…..We do a pound of sausage, then sprinkle on the flour over the cooked sausage to soak up grease. Make sure four has time to cook, keep heat medium so it won’t burn. When the flour turns a tan color you can slowly add some milk and stir. If it’s too thick add more...

      .22WMR or .17HMR?

Every store I go to has 22mag, even during pandemic when it seemed to always be on the shelf. I would buy box or two every time I saw it. I have a ground hog issue and 22lr does not cut it but 22 mag is perfect. It’s my choice.

Tucker to Drop Bombshell January 6 Footage

I remember watching on Jan 6, seeing some of the same video that day, people being calm, staying in the ropes, walking around and cops talking to them. Then the Jan 6th committee came out- I had a hard time correlating what they were saying vs what I saw. Now I know I was not crazy.

Looking for a new LED Flashlight recomendation

For EDC if you can go a little smaller - check out the Macro Steam from Streamlight. 500 lumens, decent throw for a smaller bezel and rechargeable. For $45-60 it’s worth a look. I have ran mainly surfires of similar size to the ED2, but now find this as my go to…

      Chain Saws

Stihl, Husky and echo make some good reliable saws. Quality chain can make an OK saw much better. I run a 290 Farm Boss with a 20” bar and “yellow” chains. I find this is a great do it all saw. Ideally would have a larger and smaller saw like a 390, and 170 but one saw has worked for...
