The best sights I've found for my Glocks and old eyes are the Wilson Vickers Elite Battlesights. U notch in the rear with front tritium. I've never had much use for anything other than tritium front in my carry guns. They are well made and a work of art in my opinion.
Mossberg 500 28" 12ga
Mossberg 500 28" 12ga. Worked all summer mowing lawns in order to be able to finance my first gun when I was 12. Shot tons of trap and skeet with it as well as ducks, geese, and rabbits. Back in a time where a kid could go down to the hardware store and buy all the shells...
I've been shooting 11-87's since about 1990. Killed tons of ducks and geese with one as well as quite a few deer. They make great all around guns if you don't care for the recoil shooting the heavier loads like with a pump. The most accurate slug gun I ever had was an 11-87 with the cantilever...
A 24" 11-87 loaded with 2 3/4 #4's would do just fine. There's no way I'd depend on a handgun shotshell for my safety or the safety of a family pet. Coyotes are wild animals and can take a whole lot more abuse than you'd ever imagine. A handgun would'nt be my first choice ever in a situation...
I've got a Matchdot II mounted scout (mid barrel) on my 11-87. I've run hundreds of rounds through this shotgun and the sight is still working like new. Very rugged and super easy to use. I also have a second one on a Browning Buckmark.
Daves Metal Works http://davesmetalworks.com/rem.html Great steel tube and fast service. I use the 8 shot on my 11-87 Special Purpose and couldn't be happier.
Tucker
I have a Tucker Gunleather Silent Thunder IWB that I absolutely love. It is rugged, secure, and the customer service was great working with these guys.
