      I hear you RVB, I just always ask why. I have 3 300 Blkout uppers for my SBRs and some folks are asking why. Well, most are like WTH until I screw on the can and shoot subs. Then they have big grins.

      Mount a red dot on it and see if that will zero. If the red dot zeros then the sights are not properly regulated. Also, as Indy Guy 77 stated, it's most likely ammo related.

      Nope, never. The only agency with the authority to request them is the ATF. Full stop. That stated, if an LEO asks me, I'm showing them. IF they take them away because they think you've unlawfully made an NFA item it's a pain in the ass to get them back.

      Sight picture. They're tritium and if I run it all the way back the globes look like big blobs. Run forward they look like crisp dots and the large ring perfectly matches the front Hk ring. It's a fast sight picture and 24 hr available.

      Adapters such as a 1/2x28 to 5/8x24. You can use a suppressor on it's caliber and smaller. Bigger would be bad. You're correct, the 5.56 will be louder in a bigger can. However, 5.56 out of a 5.56 is loud anyway. I've shot a bunch of different 5.56 cans and none of them are hearing safe...

      IMHO, don't get a 5.56 can. I have 2 and I'm less than impressed, it's still quite loud. Go get a 308 can and adapters. That way when you finally get tired of loud 5.56 suppression you can get a 300 BLKOUT barrel and run a rd that's very quiet suppressed. If I could go back, I'd have just bought...
