      At a certain point..

Waiting on one more to come back in stock at a bit lower price (MVP Scout in .308) and keeping an eye out for a Martini Henry. Other than that and a couple of more optics, I’m pretty satisfied with what I have.

      Will you take the vaccine?

Yep. First shot was on Weds. Injection site was sore for a day. I work in a hospital and constantly interact with breathing circuits, intubation equipment, etc, so it’s not just for my safety but to also know I’m not a carrier that could contaminate the things that go directly into your mouth...

      First Person Covid-19 stories

Parents are out of quarantine. Mom is still very fatigued but able to get out of bed. Dad will be getting an antibody test. All in all, not a bad Christmas present.

WTB: Budget/ entry level 1-4x, 1-6x lpvo, and/or budget magnifier

Looking to purchase an entry level (<$200) low power variable optic with a 1-4x or 1-6x magnification, preferably with an illuminated reticle. I'm looking to try a cheaper but functional lpvo to see if I like the concept before investing in a more expensive one. Looking for: Truglo Tru...

      First Person Covid-19 stories

Called my mother yesterday to let her know I'd be dropping by on Dec 26th to meet her and my father outside for a brief exchange. She just had kidney stones removed and had been running a fever and her O2 sats had been in the high 80s since Friday. My family routinely crosses the line from...

      Advice on Dry-fire laser systems

Update: The Redpoint Arms 9mm snap cap and the free app from G Sight work pretty well together. The stand is just a straight up cheap selfie stick, but it works for this. Also, I assume its par for the course for any brand of the laser snap caps, but this one sits snugly in the barrel and...

      Shipping

You guessed it. Everything has just stopped moving. Same with the Minnesota and Vegas distribution centers.

      Shipping

I've had a package shipped from a couple of hours away sitting in a distribution center located less than 10 miles from my house for the last 4 days.

Mastodons, other Ice Age beasts in the Amazon

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-55172063 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lucUlTLnx1w&t=7s This is pretty awesome. The art depicts mastodons, giant sloths, ice age horses, and other megafauna. These paintings in Columbia date from 11,800-12,600 years ago (looking at you, Younger...
