      shotgun barrel reblued?

      I have seen the touch up pens...is it hard to match the color? Ive seen a blue touchup pen that dries a blue black, and a super black touchup pen...which one would be best for a somewhat matte finish shotgun? Its more of a charcoal color instead of jet black.

      Stopped by and checked out the range...its not too bad at all! Spoke to the dnr guy..the skeet shotgun range is now closed, and shooting shotguns is limited to slugs. This is because the NRA helped fund the project, but the range had to be up to their. "specs". The 200yd range is not finished...

      I tell ya after many years of not hunting it was really nice just to be in he woods for a change ...and how much I have missed it. Its a shame my hearing isnt what it used to be.

      Nah its a smoothbore...one of them shotuns with a pistol grip for $200 at wm...i think the critter was way too high/far for such a light load etc...i took some #6 hi brass out this morning a buddy gave me...3 shots 3 thuds! Out of the same tree I missed last time lol

      I took a shot at one, it was a fairly clear shot...the lil fart was sitting sideways on a branch with no leaves around him. The light load #8 hit every where around him...

      Its a Stevens 12ga..cyl bore I believe. I only used #6 hi brass shells at one time but I'm not for sure. It's been so lobg since hunting I have forgotten how I used to have a good hunt.

      Has anyone had any experience with the cheap priced Suprema brand shotgun shells...I have a box of 00 that was $12 for 25 rds. Havent tried em yet...they have some 7.5 shotshells...$6 for 25rds. I need a decent shell for squirrels...12 ga. I goofed and took some light target #8 shot and missed...

      There used to be a skeet shooting area on the other side of the bathroom....complete with a concrete "bunker" to set up the thrower from. That was filled in during the last renovation, when they built the short pistol range, and only left the concrete slab. There used to be piles of shotgun...

      Hopefully we can get some clarification on a few things....no shotguns? Does this mean they did away with the old skeet shooting area, or no shotguns period? If no shotguns period, that's kinda crappy. Are the ranges the same as they were only improved...last time I was there they had recently...

      Glock 30,30sf,36 etc.

      I picked up a G30, they just happened to have one at the Ace Hardware in Scottsburg...so I bought it. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but so far I like it. The only downside...it wouldn't fit in the holster for my 19.
