      Motorcycle Riders?

Anybody here running a NOCO battery on the Harley? I have a 2014 ultra limited that will probably need a new battery soon. I have ran big crank brand batteries for quite a while and they do hold up well. That being said I found a pretty good deal on one of the NOCO batteries sized for my bike...

Wildcat - Rimfire Falling Steel Match - 3/3/2024 (Note later hours for this one)

What a good time for my first outing of the year. I finally got my speed back up somewhere around our third stage. I was glad I could finally make it early enough to help with setup. Thank you to Wildcat Valley for holding this type of event. Wish there were more in Indiana.

      Motorcycle Riders?

I had mine out. Couldn't stand it any longer and with the 70s temps it had to happen. It was great therapy. I could tell it was a first ride though. Familiarity fades after a few months....

Liquid fuel vs. propane bottles for lanterns and cook stoves

Related... I saw these in Menards this past weekend. I've refilled my own regular 1# bottles for years but it's interesting to see them now with a pop off/ bleeder. The box says 60 second fill time which is what I've always done anyway...

2024 Wildcat Rimfire Falling Steel - start time survey - input needed

I think I prefer number one, keep the start time the same. If anything, moving it back one hour to 11:00 would make it easier for me to get there but not so late getting back to Bloomington. Maybe 11:00 would allow the churchgoers to go to early service and be able to make it to the match. As...

      Cocktails

For your margaritas, switch to Gran Gala for the orange liquor taste. Much less expensive than Gran Marnier.

Wildcat Rimfire Falling Steel - Next Sunday 9-3-2023

Great match Mick! Of course I loved the double Texas star stage as well as the "confusion" stage. I'll have to see if I can make it to one more of your matches before winter. Thank you and Wildcat for holding the match.

      What generators/brands to avoid?

I experienced the first major outage at my "new" house that I moved into in '22 during the 4th of July outage. At the old place I had manual transfer switch with the (6-8?) circuits I wanted. AC was not a priority for me. Gas furnace and H water so no problems running on what I believe is a...
