i use a midway competition range bag.
electronic muffs and electronic plugs, glasses, ammo that i'm using that day, mag loader/unloader for each gun.
towel to wipe sweat, pair of leather palm gloves, rosin bag.

same here, i just turned 66 last month. i'm a competitive shooter, so my purchases lean towards that part of shooting. my last gun purchase (Ruger PC9) took me 4 years of "deciding" whether i really wanted/needed to spend the money, when i already had several guns i could compete with. IF/when...
after several years of thinking about it, i went with a ruger PC9. picked one up used, and did a little work to it. TK chassis, trigger, charging handle,rotary safety, grip, Cmore railway dot, magpul stock. 33rd glock mags, 124gr blazer brass ammo
if i take small parts off a gun, it goes in a zip lock bag and gets put in the box the gun came in, i keep those boxes up in the basement floor joists. if i ever decide to sell the gun i have all the original parts with it

FWIW next sat @ michigan city there is a RCSA match at the indoor range. im sure pete swenson would be happy to show you around the outdoor ranges after the match. match starts at 8am. it would be a good way to meet up with people, theres always at least 2 or 3 mich city members at the match.
over the past couple years ive heard that warsaw wanted to start shooting USPSA again, but the MD wasnt getting much support. i know he was planning to have a match late last year, no idea if it happened or not.
warsaw does shoot a 4 stage steel challenge match every month.
and on top of it all, raising membership dues.. my (sometimes erratic) thought have got me thinking it's to money in USPSA's hands for the potential legal battles that may be coming in the future.
