      List your shooters: Part VI

The Fort Wayne ones were owned by Dick Freeland, who died in 2013. The pictures of the mansion they built in SW Allen county don't do it justice. It is really awesome. My brother was married to their daughter and had the wedding on the property...

      Pillow shaker alarm?

Maybe look at this from a different angle. If she is consistently snoring, she may need get checked for sleep apnea. She might need a CPAP.

Where to get narcan? (preferably free)

It should be available OTC shortly. Here is a article from the FDA approving it for OTC. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-over-counter-naloxone-nasal-spray

      Great Clips

I like using the app, but my complaint with them is the constant price increases. It's great if you can catch a 6.99 deal, but now the regular price is $18 here in Fort Wayne. That's way too much for a basic haircut that takes less than 10 min.

Free shared task list/project management app?

Have you looked at Google Keep? It works on android and ios, we use to share tasks and lists that need frequent updates. It also retains the completed tasks for tracking and reuse.

      Louisville (Again…)

There was an interview with a former classmate that stated he had a number of concussions during middle school / high school and he wore the helmet to try to prevent any additional concussions.

      America's most inbred family

One does not become a Type 1 diabetic from drinking too much Mt. Dew. It is an auto immune disease where your body attacks the cells in the pancreas stops insulin production. You can't just drop a few pounds and have it go away, it is a lifelong disease.

      Basic Prepper Comms for Newbie

Check out the licensing section on arrl.org. You can see all of the testing sites and dates. Some require registration, some allow walk ins. I have not done the online testing, so I can't speak to that. What I would suggest is that once you consistently scoring about 85% on the practice...

      Basic Prepper Comms for Newbie

If you are in a true emergency situation and have no other option available, you can use any means necessary to make contact over a radio, with no consequences from the FCC. The bigger question will be, can you? Without some background in HAM radio, it may be very difficult to make contact...

Looking for a new LED Flashlight recomendation

You might want to try the Fenix PD35. I have been carrying various Fenix lights for years and it is all I buy. It looks like the newest version of the PD35 starts shipping tomorrow. It has 5 - 1700 lumen output and the specs you are looking for. It also comes with a battery. Newmember2023...

      Coffee heads thread

Water does make a huge difference. My wife's grandparents used to fill their trunk with gallon jugs when they were back in town because the water was so much better than the well water at their lake house. I filter all the water for coffee and our counter top ice machine through 2 different...

      Random Ponderings

If your hot dog buns are connected, you are buying the wrong ones. Go to a GFS and get the restaurant style buns that are all individual. You will never want to tear hot dog buns apart again and it's easy to pull out just the number you need from the bag.

      Cute Pet Pic thread

This is Sophie... I held her in my arms today and watched the light that brought us so much joy and happiness to our lives fade away. We are heartbroken. Rest in Peace baby girl, we will never forget you!

      Call centers

I voted for working in the call center. I was forced into working our customer help desk for about 6 months and it was the most miserable, life sucking experience of my career. It was the closest I have ever come to quitting a job on the spot. You get grilled over metrics. I got a lecture for...

      Counter top ice Makers

We have been using a counter top ice maker for years. Even with a filter on the refrigerator, we could never get decent ice that wasn't cloudy. We have been through a number of units in the last 15-20 years and the one we like best is Luma. We filter the tap water through a Brita or Zero...
