      PBS gun law poll

Looks like they pulled the poll down. Wasn't going in the desired direction would be my guess.

To carry or not to carry?

I did state this incorrectly. What I meant is there is nothing in state statute that keeps you from keeping a firearm locked in your car out of sight in the FedEx employee parking lot.

To carry or not to carry?

FedEx is not preempted by statute but has the employee lot posted no firearms. FedEx corporate attitude is very anti gun. I still park there all the time with a firearm in the car.

There is a sign posted at the ER entrance on the east side right next to the security office.

School Zone / Traffic Stop question - What happens here?

Actually, your property line is usually the center line of the street. From the center line of the street back toward your house will be a certain measurement (20, 30, 40 feet) that is an easement for the road and sidewalk. That area is for the "good of the public" and generally not under the...

Can you leave your pistol in your car at the airport?

True, But technically I consider the Tower, TRACON, and Center secured facilities. Just a bit more information than needed in this thread for those not working in aviation.

Can you leave your pistol in your car at the airport?

The FAA has no regulations prohibiting firearms in the unsecured areas of the airport. IC is very clear in only making the secure areas of the airport off limits. This goes back to the trespass issue. If asked to leave you must go. Until then you are good to go.

No Guns At The Indy Hamfest?

From the Indy.gov web site I found the following transfer of the fairgrounds in 1978. Appears to be a transfer from the Marion County Fairgrounds Foundation to the Marion County Agricultural & 4-H Club Fair Association (Fair Board). Now is to determine is the fair board a local governmental...

Moving, but not moving & the LTCH

You might want to check with a lawyer in the republic of California. I live in Indiana and work in San Francisco. The only California tax I pay is SUI/SDI. I get by with paying Indiana income tax because I am a pilot and fly more than 50% of the time outside of California's border. I would think...

So I flew with a firearm for the first time today...

Be careful on your airplane routing, especially through NYC airports. If you legally transit NYC and due to weather or mechanical your flight out cancels you could have an issue. There are cases of airline agents returning your belongings and immediately call the NYPD. You get arrested, charged...
